Abstract (en)

An interface seal (14) for an electrical connector assembly (10) that includes a housing (12) and a seal retainer (16) defining a seal recess (86, 88) and configured to couple to the housing (12), is disclosed. The interface seal (14) includes a main body portion (40) configured to substantially surround the housing (12) to create a sealing interface, and an anti-rotation projection (42) coupled to and extending from the main body portion (40). The anti-rotation projection (42) includes an engagement portion (62) extending in a first direction and (ii) a connecting portion (60) that couples the engagement portion (62) with the main body portion (40) and that extends in a second direction different from the first direction. The anti-rotation projection (42) cooperates with the seal recess (86, 88) to inhibit movement of the interface seal (14) with respect to the housing (12) and seal retainer (16).
