[origin: WO2016008584A2] The present invention discloses an intraocular lens selection method, in which at least one predetermined subjective parameter related to the quality of vision is submitted for decision to a user, and is used together with biometric eye parameters and with parameters characterising visual aids previously used by the user, in order to determine a primary IOL parameter. On the basis of the primary IOL parameter, a pre-selection of a first partial number from a total number of IOLs is then made. A data processing system is used for carrying out the method. Also disclosed are a device for carrying out the method and a computer program product.
