Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016012143A1] The invention relates to an electromagnetic actuating unit for an intake valve for supplying fuel to a high-pressure fuel pump, in particular a high-pressure common-rail pump, comprising an electromagnet (1) and an armature (2) which is guided, in an armature guide (3) surrounding an outer circumferential region of the armature (2), so as to be axially displaceable. According to the invention, the armature guide (3) serves at the same time for mounting the armature , the armature (2) being in the form of a flat armature that bounds an axial working air gap (4) formed between the armature (2) and the electromagnet (1). The invention further relates to an intake valve having such an electromagnetic actuating unit.
