[origin: WO2016015763A1] The invention relates to a piston pump (22) for a high-pressure cleaning device (10), having a pump block (34) and a pump head (42), wherein the pump head (42) has a main body (44) which with a rear face (46) bears against the pump block (34) and has a suction line (68), a pressure line (72) as well as a plurality of pump chambers (64), which are each connected by means of a suction valve (66) to the suction line (68) and by means of a pressure valve (70) to the pressure line (72). The pump head also has an overflow line (104), by means of which the pressure line (72) is connected to the suction line (68) and on which an overflow valve (106) is arranged which opens and closes as a function of the pressure of the liquid, and has an pressure control valve chamber (166) connected to the pressure line (72) for housing an pressure control valve (168). In order to modify the piston pump (22) in such a way that it can be produced more cost-effectively and has a more compact design, according to the invention the pressure control valve chamber (166) is arranged offset with respect to the pressure line (72) in the direction of the rear face (46) of the main body (44).
