[origin: CA2957163A1] A bottle (1) for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product has an elongate body (10), a reservoir (20) that contains this product and is able to move in translation in the body between a top working position and a maximum depressed position under the action of an elastically compressible device, and an application element (40) secured to a cap (50) that is retractable into the body and comprising a stem (41) that is secured to this cap and is terminated by an applicator suitable for being loaded with product when it is dipped into the reservoir; a peripheral part (25) provided with a locking finger (25C) that is able to move transversely and a more flexible internal part (26) are attached to the reservoir close to its edge in order to engage in terms of sealing with a widened portion (44) of the stem and to lock the latter to the reservoir over only a part of the travel of the reservoir in the body.
