[origin: WO2016033273A1] The disclosure relates to articles of footwear (100) and components thereof including a surface element (116) comprising a dispersion. When present on an outsole (112), the surface element (116) forms or is present at a ground facing surface of the outsole (112). The dispersion of the surface element (116) compositionally includes a first polymeric phase and a second phase. The outsoles (112) can prevent or reduce the accumulation of soil on the footwear (100) during wear on unpaved surfaces such as sporting fields.
