[origin: WO2015187558A1] A global risk insight platform advances the insurance sector by capturing key statistics obtained from business operations around insurance markets worldwide. The platform may provide services to brokers, insurance carriers, and reinsurance carriers, relying on much of the same underlying data, but providing different levels of insight, presented in different ways. Carriers access a "carrier dashboard" interface to obtain accumulated information on classes of business and territories, benchmarking metrics for assessing performance in view of peers, and market condition insight. Brokers, on behalf of their clients, can access information through a "broker dashboard" interface to review analysis and modeling drawn from a broad pool of data to support client decision-making. Both brokers and carriers benefit from an interest registration function, which brings together clients whose insurance policies are due for renewal and carriers having risk appetites for that client's custom.
