[origin: WO2016026515A1] The present invention relates to an edge profile element (15) for a ceiling substructure, wherein the ceiling structure comprises a plurality of base profile elements (12) and a plurality of supporting profile elements (14) fastened to the base profile elements (12) and intended for fastening a plurality of building boards (24), in particular gypsum building boards, wherein the edge profile element (15) is an L-profile element with a first leg (16) for wall mounting and a second leg (17), wherein an angled portion (19) of the second leg (17) is formed which is directed inwardly in such a way that a distal end of the angled portion (19) is closer to a perpendicular line, which is perpendicular to the first leg (16) and intersects the distal end thereof, than a proximal end of the angled portion (19), and wherein a distal portion (20) of the second leg (17) that adjoins the angled portion (19) and is intended to have at least one base profile element (12) laid thereon is angled off outwardly with respect to the angled portion (19), in particular so as to extend perpendicularly to the first leg (16).
