[origin: EP3184893A1] A thermostat tap for gas operated domestic cookers/ovens which comprises a motor driven by electronic circuit and allowing direct control, as well as a solenoid coil or electromagnet connected to the gas inlet in the gas tap body for safety purposes, wherein the need for a transmission element is eliminated due to said motor driven by electronic circuit. According to the invention, the temperature is set by means of a motor directly connected to the body and driven by an electrical circuit. Hence, touch-control of the ovens operated by gas can also be achieved.
