Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016030475A1] The invention relates to a system (100) for lowering a person (101) in a controlled manner from a working area (102) at a distance to the ground in an emergency situation. A first lowering system for lowering the person (101) is provided, said system being securable to a securing region in the working area (102), and the first lowering system has a first cable (112) to which the person (101) can be coupled. A second lowering system for lowering the person (101) is provided, said second lowering system having a second cable (122) for lowering the person (101). A suspension element (124) can be secured to the securing region in the working area (102), said second lowering system being coupled to the suspension element (124) such that a force-transmitting coupling can be produced between the second cable (122) and the suspension element (124). The first lowering system and the second lowering system are designed such that the second lowering system is coupled to the first lowering system in a first lowering region (113), and the second lowering system can be lowered from the securing region along a first lowering length by means of the first cable (112) in the first lowering region (113). The second lowering system can be decoupled from the first lowering system in a nondestructive manner starting from an end of the first lowering region, and the person (101) can be lowered in a second lowering region (23) along a second lowering length by means of the second cable (122). The weight of the person (101) can be transmitted in the second lowering region (123) from the second cable (122) to the securing region via the suspension element (124).
