[origin: US2017188164A1] A hearing device has a housing with a housing main body and a finger-shaped extension for receiving an ear mold. The finger-shaped extension, starting from a housing base, extends along an insertion direction of the hearing device. A length of the finger-shaped extension along the insertion direction is at least 50% of the corresponding total length of the housing in the insertion direction. A width of the housing base transverse to the insertion direction is at most 40% of the corresponding maximum width of the housing in the transverse direction.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hörgerät (21) mit einem Gehäuse (23), das Gehäuse (23) umfassend einen Gehäusegrundkörper (25), sowie einen fingerförmigen Fortsatz (27) zur Aufnahme eines Ohrpassstückes (33), wobei sich der fingerförmige Fortsatz (27) ausgehend von einer Gehäusebasis (29) entlang einer Einführrichtung (5) des Hörgeräts (21) erstreckt. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass die Länge (L F ) des fingerförmigen Fortsatzes (27) entlang der Einführrichtung (5) mindestens 50 % der entsprechenden Gesamtlänge (L G ) des Gehäuses 23 in dieser Richtung beträgt, und dass die Breite (B GB ) der Gehäusebasis (29) quer zur Einführrichtung (5) maximal 40 % entsprechenden maximalen Breite (B Gmax ) des Gehäuses (23) in dieser Richtung beträgt.
