Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016034576A1] The invention relates to a displacement pump with a delivery chamber, which is connected to a pressure connection and a suction connection, and a displacement element that determines the volume of the delivery chamber and can be moved between a first position in which the delivery chamber has a smaller volume and a second position in which the delivery chamber has a larger volume. The pressure connection is connected to the delivery chamber via a pressure valve, and the suction connection is connected to the delivery chamber via a suction valve. The aim of the invention is to provide a corresponding displacement pump which is self-ventilating, simply constructed, and additionally has a pressure-stable metering capacity even in the event of high counter-pressures in the pressure line. According to the invention, this is achieved in that a reservoir which can be filled with a pumping fluid is connected to the delivery chamber via a venting valve.
