[origin: WO2016037791A1] A basket-like workpiece carrier for receiving a plurality of workpieces has a base element (4.1). A plurality of workpiece receptacles (3) for in each case one workpiece (2) are arranged thereon. Each workpiece receptacle comprises at least two positioning elements (6.1, 6.2) for positioning the workpiece. In order to adapt the workpiece receptacles to different workpieces, the distance between the positioning elements of each workpiece receptacle is variable. In order in this case to allow quick and easy adaptation, the workpiece carrier has a displacement element (5.1) which is displaceable horizontally with respect to the base element. The positioning elements interact with the base element and the displacement element such that a displacement of the displacement element in the longitudinal direction with respect to the base element brings about a simultaneous change in the distance between the positioning elements of several workpiece receptacles.
