[origin: WO2016037825A1] The invention relates to a clothing that is suitable for a machine for producing and/or finishing a material web, particularly a fibrous material web such as a paper, board or tissue web, comprising at least one polymer film having an upper and a lower side, the lower side of a first section of one of said at least one polymer films, and the upper side of a second section of the same film or of another of said at least one polymer films, being arranged one over the other, in surface contact, in an overlap region and being interconnected in at least some sections, perforations that are delimited by walls being formed in said overlap region and penetrating the two superposed sections from the upper side of the first section to the lower side of the second section. The invention is characterised in that, at least at the walls which delimit said perforations, these sections are interconnected by means of a welded connection. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a clothing.
