[origin: WO2016038580A1] A method for producing a tubular element (1) that can be installed in parts/components of a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine to acoustically and/or thermally insulate said parts/components; the method comprises the steps of providing a support element (10) extending along a reference axis (B), providing a skein (M) of continuous fibres wound around said support element (10), arranging in a position adjacent to said tubular fibre skein (M) penetrating devices (12) designed to penetrate through the fibres (F) of the tubular skein (M), passing through the tubular fibre skein (M) by means of said penetrating devices (10) to locally weave/twist the fibres (F) together and reciprocally join/connect them.
