Abstract (en)

[origin: CN106970513A] The present invention proposes a clock mechanism comprising at least one energy source (1, 2), a first gear train (3), a second gear train (4), a tourbillon cage (20) kinematically connected to the first gear train (3) and supporting an escapement mechanism (18) and an adjusting member (19), a drive moving member (30) connected to the second gear train (4) in a kinematic manner and designed to directly or indirectly drive the escapement mechanism (18), and selection devices (33, 35) for selecting at least one from a first operating mode in which the first gear train (3) is rotated and the second gear train (4) is stopped and a second operating mode in which the second gear trian (4) is rotated and the first gear train (3) is stopped. In the first operating mode, the tourbillon cage rotates and the mechanism functions as a conventional machine core with the tourbillon. In the second operating mode, the tourbillon cage is stopped and the mechanism functions as a conventional machine core without the tourbillon.
