[origin: WO2016042266A1] The invention relates to an appliance for treating the skin and/or hairs comprising: - a housing (1) which contains an electric motor (4) associated with transmission means (5), - a treatment head (10) which is connected to the housing (1) and which comprises: - a hollow body (11) which delimits a treatment chamber (12) that is open at a treatment window (14), - a treatment means (13) which is arranged inside the treatment chamber and which is driven in rotation of axis A by the transmission means (5), - a flap (25) mobile in rotation about said axis A which comprises a bearing shoe (26) defining a surface (S) for contact with the skin that is to be treated, said flap (25) comprising at least one elongate element (6) in the continuation of the bearing shoe (26), the longitudinal axis of symmetry A' of the said element (6) being orthogonal to said axis A, one (E1) of the ends of the element (6) being connected to said bearing shoe (26) while the opposite end (E2) is intended to come into contact with the skin that is to be treated, said flap (25) comprising a plurality of mutually parallel elements (6) all of the same length.
