[origin: WO2016034782A1] The invention relates to a folding device (9) for forming corrugations in a metal sheet (1), comprising: a lower frame (10); an upper frame (11) moving vertically between a rest position and a folding position; - at least two dies (15, 16, 17) borne by the lower frame (10), one being fixed with respect to the lower frame (10) and the other slidably mounted; - at least two punches (12, 13, 14) borne by the upper frame (11), one being fixed and the other being slidably mounted on the upper frame (11); the folding device (9) being configured such that, in operation, during movement of the upper frame (11) towards the folding position thereof, the metal sheet (1) transmits a tensile force to the sliding punch (12, 14) and to the sliding die (15, 17) which displaces same from a spaced-apart position to a near position.
