[origin: WO2016041783A1] The invention relates to an aircraft seat device having at least one aircraft seat (10a, 10c) and at least one console (14a; 14b; 14c), which, if viewed in a direction of flight (12), is arranged in front of the aircraft seat (10a, 10c), and having at least one airbag element (16a; 16b; 16c), which is designed to protect the passenger (50a, 50c) sitting in the aircraft seat (10a, 10c) from colliding with the console (14a, 14c) in the event of a crash. According to the invention, in a fully inflated state, the at least one airbag element (16a; 16b; 16c) has a thickness (20a; 20b) in at least one head impact area (18a; 18b; 18c), which thickness (20a; 20b) is smaller than a thickness (22a; 22b) in an at least one shoulder impact area (24a, 60a; 24b, 60b; 60c).
