[origin: WO2016040977A1] The invention relates to a crate in the form of a flap-adhesively-bonded box composed of cardboard, comprising a bottom (1) and a jacket (2) rising from the bottom (1), which jacket forms upper longitudinal edge segments reinforced by edge flaps (8) folded inward between the jacket corners. In order to create advantageous design conditions, the jacket (2) according to the invention has extension tabs (10, 11, 26), which, at least on one side of the jacket corners, are bent inward 90° around creasing lines (12, 13, 27) offset outward in relation to the edge (14) of the reinforced longitudinal edge segments and which are adhesively bonded to the opposite side of the jacket corner, and that the bottom (1) has recesses (17) in the region of the jacket corners, which recesses are adapted to the contour shape of a locking extension (15) formed by the extension tabs (10, 11, 26).
