[origin: GB2530092A] A hinged lid pack for a bundle of tobacco industry products 9 has a void 21 in the lid, between the top of the bundle 9 and the top of the lid. Small cigarettes 9 can be placed in a standard/ larger sized box, by moving the hinge 16 further from the top wall 14 of the lid 3, so that more of the cigarettes protrude past the opening (8, fig 2).The hinge may be within 1 mm of the maximum distance from the top of the lid that allows the lid to pivot open, without fouling the bundle 9. The pack may have an inner frame (18, fig 2) protruding from the pack base, at least partially surrounding the bundle 9. The line of closure between the lid and the base may be angled. The bundle may be 65 to 75 mm long. The void 21 may comprise between 5% and 30% of the distance between the top and bottom of the pack. The pack may be formed from a one-piece blank. The bundle 9 may be wrapped in foil or have a re-sealable label.
