Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016046037A1] The invention relates to a separable housing for a transmission, in particular for a transmission of a fluid machine, such as, for example, a transmission turbo-compressor, and a fluid machine comprising such a separable housing. The transmission (100) that is provided for receiving in the separable housing (1) has a large wheel (101) and at least two pinion shafts (10, 1) which are in engagement with the large wheel (101). The separable housing (1) comprises at least one first housing element (2) and a second housing element (3) which is connected to the first housing element (2) via a parting joint (4). The at least two pinion shafts (10, 11) can be received in the parting joint (4). The parting joint (4) comprises a parting joint seam (5), which is sealed by using a sealing element (30) which comprises a shape substantially corresponding to the parting joint seam (5).
