[origin: WO2016046377A1] The invention relates to an omnidirectional antenna (100) intended to equip a sonar, the antenna being centred around a longitudinal axis (10) and comprising a set of emission annuli (20) stacked along the longitudinal axis, each emission annulus (20) being formed around the longitudinal axis. The emission annuli (20) are assembled in groups of annuli (200), the antenna (100) comprising at least two groups of annuli (200) and each group of annuli comprising at least two annuli (20), the inter-annulus spacings between the annuli being one and the same group and the inter-group spacings between two successive groups of annuli being chosen in such a way as to optimize the emission bandwidth and the sound level.
