Bei einer Leuchte zum Anschluss an Flachkabelleitungen (1), mit wenigstens einem Schneidkontakte aufweisenden Leuchtensockel (2), wenigstens einer am Leuchtensockel (2) ausgebildeten Leuchtmittelaufnahme, einem die Leuchtmittelaufnahme einhausenden Diffusorglas (4) und mit in der Leuchtmittelaufnahme angeordneten Leuchtdioden, ist vorgesehen, dass das Diffusorglas (4) eine Einstreuöffnung (5) aufweist, deren Durchmesser kleiner als der größte Durchmesser des Diffussorglasses (4) ist, und dass der Leuchtensockel (2) der Einstreuöffnung (5) zugeordnete Kühlrippen (6) aufweist.
