[origin: WO2016050862A1] In a sheet-fed printing press, multiple-colour printed images are produced and dried on both sides of printed sheets. The printed images are printed using special printing inks and are not coated. For complete curing, the printed images are subjected to a curing radiation treatment after the respectively last ink application on each side of the printed sheet, wherein the process sections (15-18) between the printing units (5, 5W) and the respective dryer (13, 14) are equally long. In this way, thoroughly dried and abrasion-resistant colour prints which are glossy on both sides can be produced on printed sheets, without a relatively long waiting time being necessary for curing of the printing inks.
