The fuel flow restriction (149, 249, 349, 449) comprises a first aperture having a restriction width (W R ).A particle trap (152, 252, 352, 452) is disposed between the valve seat (106, 206, 306, 406) and the fuel flow restriction (149, 249, 349, 449). The particle trap (152, 252, 352, 452) comprises at least one second aperture having a clearance width (W c ). The clearance width (W c )is less than or equal to the restriction width (W R ).
