[origin: WO2016050586A1] A male strip connector (1) having a support element (2) made of insulating material that has a base area section (7), a retaining section (8) protruding transversely therefrom and, on the side of the retaining section (8) that is opposite the base area section (7), a fixing section (9), and having a plurality of contact pins (3) that have a plug contact section (4) and a connection contact section (5) angled off with respect thereto, is described. The retaining section (8) has a plurality of insertion openings (13), arranged next to one another, for inserting a plug contact section (4) of a contact pin (3). The fixing section (9) has a plurality of recesses (19) for holding a respective connection contact section (5) of a contact pin (3). The retaining section (8) has a plurality, corresponding to the number of insertion openings (13), of fingers (11) that are separated from one another by free spaces (14) and in which the insertion openings (13) are made. The base area section (7) has a plurality of platforms (12) that corresponds to the number of insertion openings (13). The recesses (19) in the fixing section (9) are each formed by a collar (18), the collars (18) of the adjacent recesses (19) and/or the adjacent platforms (12) each being connected to one another via a web (15).
