Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016055414A1] The invention relates to mats or strips which are produced without vulcanization. It particularly relates to mats for use in railroad construction, for rail vehicles, in road construction or as conveyor belts. The mat or strip consists of at least one thermoplastic elastomer compound in the form of a powdered rubber-modified polymer alloy from powdered rubber and a main thermoplastic, the elastomer compound being free of dispersants and emulsifiers and being available as a powder, and the main thermoplastic being a polyester or polyurethane. The mat is puncture-resistant and has at least one layer.
