[origin: WO2017137110A1] The invention specifies a jet strip (18) for generating a spray jet, and a method (116) for producing the jet strip (18). A jet channel (24) of the jet strip (18) extends from the first side (20) to the second side (22) of the jet strip (18) and defines a throughflow direction (30, 38). A second portion (28) of the jet channel (24) is offset relative to a first portion (26) in a direction transverse to the throughflow direction (30, 38). The jet channel (24), with a central portion (50) which tapers in the direction from the first side (20) to the second side (22), is preferably in the form of a funnel with a single, asymmetrically arranged funnel neck formed by the second portion (28). The jet strip (18) can be created, for example, by arranging (120) a bore with a conically tapering base in a strip material and by arranging (122) a recess in the base of the bore, using a stamping or punching tool, with centre axes of the bore and the recess being offset transversely.
