[origin: WO2016059224A1] The invention provides a protective panel having a panel surface which comprises one or more portions of a reusable mounting system for engaging with a surface having corresponding portions of the reusable mounting system wherein the reusable mounting system has a sliding layer which is shaped to shield the reusable mounting system such that the panel can be slid into position without the reusable mounting system engaging; a surface preparation sheet having one or more portions of a reusable mounting system for engaging with a protective panel according to the invention which has one or more corresponding portions of a reusable mounting system; and a protective panel system comprising one or more protective panels and a surface preparation sheet.
