[origin: WO2016059311A1] The invention relates to a method for interrupting the injection of fuel to an internal combustion engine in a vehicle during the deceleration phase, which comprises: a step of detecting a request to decelerate the vehicle, and a step of determining a corrective torque (Ccor) intended for attenuating engine speed oscillations during the deceleration, characterised in that it comprises: a step of detecting the first maximum corrective torque and, following the detection of said first maximum corrective torque, a step of requesting the interruption of the injection when the corrective torque (Ccor) reaches a value proportional to the first maximum corrective torque.
