[origin: WO2016062515A1] The invention relates to a pressing tool (100) for the radial pressing of workpieces, comprising a ring of ring segments (121, 122, 121', 122') with two coupling points (K, K') for introducing a tensile force which brings about the closing of the ring. In a preferred embodiment, the ring consists of two partial rings (120, 120') from tensile force-transmitting coupled ring segments, wherein an end of each partial ring is coupled in a tensile force-transmitting manner to a press jaw (112, 112') which is movably supported on a ring segment (122', 122).
