[origin: WO2016066368A1] The invention relates to a polysaccharide having an anionic functional silicone grafted thereto, wherein the silicone has at least one residual anionic group; to a laundry treatment composition comprising from 1 to 40 wt.% of surfactant, comprising anionic and optionally nonionic surfactant, and from 0.05 to 10 wt.% of the polysaccharide; and to the use of a polysaccharide having an anionic functional silicone grafted thereto wherein the silicone has at least one residual anionic group, to soften fabrics.
