Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016066361A1] The switch according to the invention comprises at least one operating element for defining a switching position. The operating element is guided in an operating direction within a housing and can be positioned at least in a first position and in a second position relative to the housing by an action of force. The switch further comprises at least one light-sensitive sensor. In addition, the operating element has at least one hole, which passes through the operating element, at least in one region. The operating element is arranged relative to the sensor in such a way that, in the first or the second position, a light beam which passes through the at least one hole is detected by the sensor, whereas, in the other position, the at least one hole in the operating element is arranged in an offset manner in such a way that detection of a light beam by the sensor is prevented.
