[origin: WO2016066352A1] The invention relates to a method for monitoring a vehicle (40) in a car park (10), wherein the vehicle (40) is handed over by a driver to a car park operator in a hand-over zone (18) and is subsequently parked in a parking space (12), and after the vehicle is removed from the parking space it is returned to the driver at a return zone (20), wherein during the entire stay at the car park (10) the vehicle (40) is monitored at least visually by means of monitoring infrastructure which is assigned to the car park (10), and the data is recorded and made available to the driver. Further aspects of the invention relate to a computer program and to a system which are configured to carry out the method.
