Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016070914A1] In continuous steel production in casters, the molded steel must be cooled by water sprayers permanently. In order to prevent corrosion within the caster, the present invention provides a primary buffer system out of an inorganic buffer and a secondary, additional buffer system using weak acid salts, which can be used to cope with local drops in pH.
