[origin: WO2016029895A1] Disclosed is a vehicle which has a loading area on which a load (3) can be placed and can be secured by means of at least one movable, mechanical and flexible load securing system (4) which can be brought into contact with the load, and the presence of a load on the loading area can be detected by means of at least one load detector (7), and the signals from all load detectors can be detected by a central control unit, wherein by means of at least one safety sensor (5), the value of the force with which the load securing system acts on the load can be detected, and the measured value of the mass of the load can be detected by the control unit, and the control unit can be used to check whether the force in the load securing system complies with the quantity which is defined, according to the mass of the load, in the relevant applicable regulations.
