[origin: WO2016071202A1] The invention relates to a lock for a door or a window, comprising a housing (1), a bolt (2), which is arranged in the housing and can be pushed out on the forend side, and a locking mechanism, which is operatively connected to the bolt (2) and can be actuated, for example, by a lock cylinder (3) by means of a cam (4). The bolt (2) has a locking plate (5) that can be coupled to the lock mechanism and that can be moved substantially normally to the forend, on which locking plate two locking hooks (6) are rotatably supported at the forend-side end, wherein the locking hooks (6) each have guide pins (7), which are guided in corresponding slotted guides (8) arranged in the housing (1), which slotted guides serve to move the locking hooks (6) from a retracted position to a locking position, and wherein the locking hooks (6) have hook-shaped recesses (9) facing each other at the free ends of the locking hooks. In a locking position while the door or window is closed, the recesses reach around a pin arranged in a locking piece.
