Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016071597A1] The invention relates to a system (18) for actuating valves (9, 10) for an internal combustion engine (2) including a first valve and a second valve (9, 10) actuated by a first electromagnetic actuator and a second electromagnetic actuator (19), respectively, each electromagnetic actuator (19) including a magnet (22) generating a magnetic field and a coil (23) supplied with electricity and immersed in said field, the electric power supply of each coil (23) making it possible to manage, alternately, acceleration and deceleration phases of each valve (9, 10), said system (18) including a control device (20) configured such as to transmit induced electric energy generated by the coil of the first (19) electromagnetic actuator towards the coil (23) of the second electromagnetic actuator (19) during a deceleration phase of the first valve (9, 10) and an acceleration phase of the second valve (9, 10), such as to use said electric energy for the acceleration phase of the second valve (9, 10).
