[origin: WO2016075408A1] The invention relates to a packaging element (10) for a glass element comprising a blank (1) made of flexible material comprising a non-continuous main cutting line (2), wherein each pair of consecutive segments (21, 22,..., 2n) of the main cutting line (2) is separated by a tab (3) of material. Each tab (3) is defined by two cutting lines (4, 4') which are transverse in relation to the main cutting line (2) and which intersect the main cutting line (2), and by two folding lines (6, 6') located on either side of the main cutting line (2), which extend between the transverse cutting lines (4, 4').
