[origin: JP2017167127A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical timepiece which avoids major attenuation of vibrations and allows some of the external elements to vibrate freely.SOLUTION: A musical timepiece includes a gong fastened to a structure 1 or a resonator 2 of a watch case 100. The resonator 2 is rigidly assembled to the structure 1 around a chamber 4, by lugs 7 allowing vibration of the resonator 2 within a determined frequency range. The chamber 4 encloses sealing elements 3, 31, 32 forming with the lugs 7 the only mechanical connection between the structure 1 and the resonator 2. The structure 1 or the resonator 2 includes grooves 51, 52 receiving gaskets 31, 32 in contact with the structure 1 and the resonator 2. The structure 1, the resonator 2, or the sealing element 3 includes rigid protruding relief portions 61, 62 with a hardness of 20 Shore A or less compressing the gaskets 31, 32 in its grooves 51, 52 for minimum damping of the vibration of the resonator 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
