Abstract (en)
[origin: EP3023209A1] Apparatus (1) for cutting vegetable products (2) such as tubers, e.g. potatoes, in two or more parts. The apparatus comprises: - at least one movable seat (6) for holding the product to be cut, the seat comprising a passage (8), - a stationary knife (39) and - drive means (5) for pulling the seat along a path crossed by the knife while the knife goes through the passage in the seat. The drive means may for example be a belt. At the position of the knife the path extends along a straight line extending in a direction parallel to the knife.
