[origin: WO2016082938A1] The invention relates to a method for checking and correcting the position of a blank (10), comprising the following steps: closing left-hand and right-hand flaps (17, 18) one on top of the other in at least one overlap portion, checking the position of the right-hand edge (13) and the left-hand edge (14) and comparing this with a predetermined position such as to determine a position deviation; when the position deviation exceeds a permissible deviation value, before the glue sets: immobilising the central flap (19) by the underside thereof using immobilising means (71) which operate with a negative pressure by means of a vacuum, then gripping the top surface of both the right-hand flap and left-hand flap by means of at least one vacuum suction grip (21, 23, 24, 26) respectively, and correcting the position of the left-hand flap (18) and/or of the right-hand flap (17).
