[origin: WO2016083080A1] The invention describes and relates to a drive arrangement for the rear wheel of a bicycle, comprising a stationary support shaft (11), a drive sleeve which is mounted to rotate on the support shaft (11), a pinion (14) which is non-rotatably mounted on the drive sleeve and which introduces into the drive arrangement an input rotational movement driving the rear wheel, an adjustable main gear (25), which is held by the support shaft (11) and which translates the rotational movement introduced by the pinion (14) into the drive arrangement, and a gear housing, which is held by the support shaft (11) and surrounds the main gear (25), the gear housing being fixed to the bicycle frame by means of a torque bracket and as a result being non-rotatably arranged, and a preliminary gear (19) being arranged in the gear housing.
