[origin: WO2016083190A1] The invention relates to a steam generator (51) operating at constant pressure, which comprises a liquid intake (40) with a predefined flow rate comprised within a range, and a heating surface with a downwards slope allowing the flow of said amount of liquid and a temperature increase of said injected amount of liquid as it flows along the path until the complete evaporation of every mole of said amount of liquid. The heating surface is open so as to allow a direct discharge of the steam formed, and the linear thermal power applied by said heating surface is selected in accordance at least with the maximum length of the path and the thermal power necessary for evaporating all of the maximum flow rate of the range.
