The folding structure (1) includes two structure elements (2.1, 2.2) and a hinge component (4) used for enabling the structure elements (2.1, 2.2) to move between an unfolding structure and a folding structure. The folding structure (1) also includes a first cable guide component (10) and a second cable guide component (12) for guiding a first portion (6.1) and a second portion (6.2) of a traction cable (6). The traction cable (6) includes a middle portion (6.3) between the first cable guide component (10) and the second cable guide component (12). The second cable guide component (12) is movable between an extended position and a shortened position relative to the first cable guide component (10). The middle portion (6.3) is longer in the extended position than in the shortened position. A recovery component (14) presses the second cable guide component (12) toward the extended position.
