Abstract (en)
A method for converting a door lock latch actuator such that it is suitable for use with a taxi. The door lock latch actuator includes first and second movable linkage parts which are interlinked by an engagement element movable between a first and second state, the first and second state governing whether motion of the first movable linkage part results in movement of the second movable linkage part. The method includes the connection of an engagement actuator for causing the movement of the engagement element dependent on one or more predetermined criteria. Also disclosed is a system for locking and unlocking the door of a taxi.
