Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016087288A1] The invention relates to a sealing plug (10). The sealing plug (10) has an elastic sleeve (12) with a thimble-like basic shape. A wound-up band (14) of the sealing plug (10) is inserted in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve (12). The number of windings or turns of the band (14) can be reduced by rotating the inner end of the band (14), such that the outside diameter of the band (14) and thus the outside diameter of the elastic sleeve (12) widen. The band (14) can be inserted into the sleeve with prestress and be relieved of stress after insertion into an anchor hole. Alternatively or in addition thereto, the band (14) in the anchor hole can be expanded beyond the stress-relieved state of the band (14). The outer end of the band (14) can be fixed to the inner wall of the sleeve (12) or be firmly seated in the elastic sleeve (12) during expansion of the band (14). The sealing plug (10) further has a latching mechanism which prevents the expanded sleeve (12) from rotating back. The latching mechanism preferably takes the form of a tooth-like embossing in the band (14). The sealing plug (10) allows a radial expansion and thus a sealing of anchor holes of different diameters without a shortening of the axial sealing surface of the sleeve (12).
