[origin: WO2016091785A1] The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions, in particular hair treatment compositions, comprising - in each case based on their weight - 0.0001 to 20 % by weight of at least one proteolipid of the formula (I): R' -X-R'', in which R' is a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 11 to 24 carbon atoms, R'' is a protein, a peptide or a protein hydrolysate, X is -C(O)O- or -N+(RIII2)-RIV- or -N(RIII)RIV- or -C(O)-N(RV)RVII, RIII is -(CH2)x-CH3 where x = 0 to 22 and RIV is -CH2-CH(OH)-CH2- or -(CH2)x- where x = 0 to 22; RV and RVI independently of one another are -H or -(CH2)x-CH3 where x = 0 to 22; with the proviso that R'' is keratin or a keratin hydrolyzate if X is -C(O)O-, and 0.0001 to 30 % by weight of methionylmethionine. The cosmetic compositions with methionylmethionine and certain proteolipid(s) exhibit a positive effect on skin and also hair and the hair follicle.
