[origin: WO2016091563A1] The invention relates to a printing assembly (200) that has printing heads (221) by means of which respective application points (221) for printing fluid are determined. A transport path for printing material (02) through the printing assembly is determined by means of at least two guide elements (241) of the printing assembly, and a printing portion (226) of the transport path begins at a first application point and ends at a last application point. At least one of the guide elements contacts a total of at least two lateral support elements (273) and at least one inner support element (274) at three locations which are mutually spaced in a transverse direction (A), and the position of the guide element is thereby fixed. The inner support element (274) is rigidly connected and/or can be rigidly connected to at least one of the lateral support elements (273), and/or the lateral support elements are designed as part of the support frame (276) that has at least one crossmember (277) which differs from the guide elements and which extends in the transverse direction and provides a constant relative position of the lateral support elements (273).
